dc.description.abstract |
Tuberculosis is a contagious infectious disease caused by mycobacteria of the tuberculosis complex mainly Mycobacterium tuberculosis or Koch bacillus.
This study consists in highlighting the importance of the traditional methods based on the direct examination of Ziehlneelsen staining and the culturing on specific media and genomic methods by applying the Gene-Xpert MTB / RIF test for the rapid diagnosis of tuberculosis.
The gene-Xpert MTB / RIF is a rapid molecular diagnosis test of Mycobacterium tuberculosis responsible for tuberculosis is more efficient and more reliable than microscopic examination and cultivation which are simple to use. It makes it possible to obtain a diagnostic delay for pulmonary tuberculosis and antibiotic-resistant tuberculosis, which is clearly shortened; In less than 2 hours. |
