A thyroid nodule is a small protuberance, a hypertrophy that sits on the thyroid gland. Very
common, it is usually discovered by chance, on palpation (in 4 to 7 % of cases) or in case of
medical examinations such as thyroid ultrasound.
The objective of our work is the study of the risk factors for the appearance of the thyroid
nodule and the analysis of some biochemical parameters such as TSH, T3 and T4 in a group
of women with thyroid nodule before and after treatment. This study focused on 20 women
aged 37 to 67 years
The results show that the T3 and T4 values in women who represent a thyroid nodule to
breast-feeding are significantly elevated and the TSH level is very low. After treatment, T3
and T4 hormones have been found to be significantly lower than TSH has been increased to
arrive and finally settle in this normal state
The treatment consists first of all in the taking of the drugs “synthetic antithyroid” and the
modification of the lifestyle |
