dc.description.abstract |
This dissertation examine and clarify a present situation in so-called multicultural Britain, the situation of 21st century where the government had taken a completely different position than the one it took in the early 1950, after the great wave of post-war immigration. It is talked about a decline and what made this topic a hot and concerns of many debates, so, in that case the question could be raised is what are the sources and meanings of cultural differences in Britain’s society.
This work focus on clarifying other government policies and approaches to immigration, brief history of multiculturalism and what the term multiculturalism means as such. This dissertation also examine life and status of minorities in political, economic, and social sphere, and the main purpose of this work is to know and understand more about what made Britain super national community of cultures. |
