Abstract

High-intensityexercisetrainingisoneof theprimaryparametersresponsible for improvementincardiorespiratoryefficacyinyoung athletes. Theaimofthecurrent studyisto provideadescriptiveandanalyticaloverviewofthe physiologicaleffect ofsuchtraining ona seriesofcardiorespiratoryindicators, e.g., heart rate, respiratoryrate,oxygenconsumption(VO₂),andtidalvolume. The studyfollowsadescriptiveanalyticalapproachbyanalyzing andcommentingona set of previousscientificstudiesthathavebeendebatingtherelationship betweenintensephysicalexerciseandthefunctioningefficiencyofthecardiorespiratory systemamong youngathletes.Bycomparing studyapproaches, findings, andconclusions, thestudy identifiesthedominanttheoreticaltrendsandrecurringoutcomesinthearea. Recurrentpositivephysiologicaladaptationstostructuredhigh-intensitytrainingprogramswere identifiedintheanalysis, includingreducedrestingheartrate, improvedlungfunction, andincreased oxygen consumption during exercise. Researchconcludesbypointingtowardthenecessitytoadoptwell-structuredintensivetraining programsfor improvementinathleticperformanceandpromotionoflong-termcardiovascularand respiratoryhealthamongyouthathletes.Italsoarguesthatmoreresearchisneededtofillthegaps andinconsistenciesseeninthereviewedliterature.
