Abstract
The objective of this study is the phenotypic characterization of the sheep population Ouled Djellal race, perspective view of a contribution to a better knowledge of sheep genetic resources remains little studied until now; bodily measurements were performed at 15 individuals. This study examined 05 variables, the data were submitted to a centroid of classes and correlation coefficient. The results of quantitative traits (height at the withers (WH), body length (LC), length( ) weight males (P♂) and female weight (P♀) Generally, individuals of medium format with equal average PV 42,6±2,92 kg in males and et 28,7±4,89 kg in females.
