Effets des Substances Psychoactives (Alcool, Drogues et Médicaments) sur Certains Paramètres Biochimiques et Hématologiques Chez Les Toxicomanes de la Wilaya de Mostaganem

Abstract

Addiction Is a ver real problème in Our society. This issue affects men and Wumen of all âges. The pur pose of This sud Is to évaluâtes the effets of the consomption of alcohol and certain illicite drus on Heath and somme biochemical and haematological parametrs. The study was conducted on a group of drug addicts of 4 women and 16 men treated in a care center in addiction. The results obtained show an increase of ASAT in the group of alcoholics and polytoxicomaniacs because the abuse of these toxic substances mainly affects liver function, in particular hepatocytes and their contents, accompanied by an increase in triglyceride levels in last, this is due to the accumulation of fats in the liver. In addition, the consumption of alcohol causes hypoglycemia come from inhibition of gluconeogenesis. With regard to hematological analyzes, the results show no disturbance. This research allowed us to cast a scientific overview on this category in which we presented a series of health problems related to psychoactive substance dependence.
