Lipidium sativum is a plant that belongs to the brassica family which has multiple medicinal properties and is used to treat inflammatory conditions. The objective of our study is to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of L. sativum seed extract syrup. The plant grains were subjected to ethanolic extraction by hot decoction, the study showed the extraction yield 12.4%. The analyzes of this syrup revealed the presence of some chemical components (tannin, saponin, alkaloid, flavonoid and tepernoid test) likely to express the desired activities. The exploration of the anti-inflammatory activity in vitro was made by two different methods : protein denaturation and hemolysis. The results obtained showed that the syrup has a high anti-inflammatory effect.en_US
