Abstract

Our study aimed to determine the nature and frequency of ovarian cysts. This study was carried out on 30 genital tracts of cows. harvested at the ouedrhiou slaughterhouse. The results of our study show the following elements: on the 30 genital tracts in the cows, six presented a gestative state (20%), of which all the gestations were recorded on the level of the right corn. A total of 26 genital tracts in cows have various lesions. On the other hand, the acquired anomalies were much more dominant in our sample. The pathology which has been most frequently encountered is the ovarian cyst. In cows, ovarian cysts were ranked second with an incidence of 20%; these are single cysts, more present in the right ovary than the left ovary, The other lesions recorded were present
