Lead currently poses significant environmental contamination problems. Plants, due to their immobility, are particularly vulnerable to the deleterious effect of this contaminant. In recent years, the development of effective techniques for decontaminating polluted sites has become essential. One of them is phytoremediation, which exploits the properties of certain plants to tolerate and accumulate large amounts of heavy metals. In this context, the objective of this work is to study the potential of Lycopersicum esculentum Mill to resist high doses of lead and to clean up soil contaminated with lead. The study focuses on the application of four additional doses of lead (0; 0.03; 0.3; 3.3g) to plants Morphological analysis of the application of increasing doses of lead to lycopersicum esculentum Mill reveals that the latter exerts a negative effect on plants and which results in inhibition of growth, where a reduction in root length was recorded. and a decrease in the height of the stemsen_US
