dc.description.abstractStudy summary: The current study aimed to reveal the importance of social networking sites in encouraging students residing in university neighborhoods to practice recreational sports activities, as well as its effective role in encouraging recreational activities in university residences, and to answer study questions the student prepared a questionnaire consisting of two areas, the first carrying questions regarding practice Recreational sports in university residences, and the second field carries questions related to social communication and sports recreation, where the research sample consisted of (105) students randomly distributed in three residencies in Mostaganem, the study results concluded that social networking sites contribute significantly to Encouraging sports recreational practice, just as resident students do not accept sports recreational activities, as it has proven that social networking sites are important in increasing students' awareness of the importance of practicing the importance of investing free time to practice sports recreational activities while they are in the residence.en_US
