Contribution à l'étude bio-écologique du psylle à gomme de l'Eucalyptus, Glycaspis brimblecombei, Moore (Hemiptera, Psyllidae) et de ses ennemis naturels dans la wilaya de Mostaganem

Abstract

The presence of the insect Glycaspis brimblecombei Moore 1964 in the forests of Eucalyptus trees in Algeria since 2011 and its spread across the various northern states of the country, especially in Médéa, Algiers , Bordj bou arreridj , Sétif and through a group of researchers in the field of forestry has been conducting field research for this harmful insect and to complement the previous efforts we have studied the presence of this insect in the state of the northwest of the country, specifically the state of Mostaganem in the forest Zarifa - Khadra located in the east of the state and across a specific protocol in estimated period of 3 months (from March 26 to June 25) by taking 100 leaves From the eucalyptus camaldulensis species , which is more sensitive to this insect and then continue the work by counting individuals, knowing their different stages of growth and calculating the number of eggs with the help of binocular magnifier .The goal of this study is to know the dynamics of the evolution for this harmful insect at the forest "Zerrifa - Khadrha" , the effect of various biotic and abiotic factors and try to find natural enemies .Our results confirmed the impact of climatic factors in the growth of this harmful insect, especially the direct relationship between high temperature and insect growing, we detect the presence of the natural enemy psyllaephagus bliteus, which is efficient in the natural control but in small numbers and also satellite data showed the negative effect of the Glycaspis brimblecombei on the health of the eucalyptus tree and tracking the beginnings and peak of the effect . There is a relationship between the amount of water in the leaves of the Eucalyptus tree and the growth of this harmful insect.
