Anemia is a global health problem that affects a large number of people across the world and especially pregnant women. The main cause of this disease is usually indicated by an iron deficiency associated with bad Nutrition habits that can lead to serious health consequences for the mother and her newborn. Our work aims to highlight the différent metabolic alterations by the determination of some haematological parameters (erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit, platelets, VGM,CCMH,TCMH), serum iron in anemic pregnant women. The obtained results show that there are haematological deficiencies in these women such as a decrease in red blood celis, hemoglobin, and hematocrit. We at so noticed a decrease in the surum iron explained by iron plays a major role in the body as a constituentof hemoglobin and many enzymatic and metabolic reactions. The observed decrease in serum iron concentration due to elevated iron requirements during pregnancy.en_US
