The world produces tons of eggshells which generates waste materials considered a major source of environmental pollution. These residual materials are rich in bioactive compounds that are very beneficial to health. Several strategies are currently being implemented to analyze these residual materials for reuse and recovery with several advantages, both economic and environmental. As part of our master's, we carried out a questionnaire on eating habits in 40 female volunteers suffering from osteoporosis and we also tested the effect of eggshell infusion on the concentration of calcium magnesium, vitamin D, cholesterol and triglycerides We found poor eating habits and a lack of sports activity with overweight in women with osteoporosis The use of eggshells raised the concentration of calcium and magnesium The richness of eggshells in calcium can therefore be valued as a natural regulator of the metabolism of calcium and other minerals. Eggshell is a natural product beneficial to human health.en_US
