Etude comparative de 14 variétés de pomme de terre cultivée (Solanum Tuberosum L.) dans la région de Mostaganem

Abstract

Behavior of some varieties of potato (Solanum Tuberosum L). vis the yield in the region of Mostaganem This study is based on an experiment that aims to follow the cycle of production of several new potato varieties. Experiment took place at the atelier Hassi Mamache (Mostaganem). The purpose of this study is to determine the appropriateness of registering these new varieties of potatoes. The experiment enables to assess the yield and disease resistance of 12 new varieties that can be introduced in Algeria. This compared to two control varieties (Spunta, Diamant) which are particularly cultivated. Selection enables to distinguish four varieties on the yield and disease resistance criteria’s (NVOH27, NVOH25, NVOH22 and NVOH19). Other varieties have not given the desired results.
