Abstract

The work carried out aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an endemic aromatic plant, sage Salvia officinalis, in the fight against dry rot of citrus fruits caused by the pathogen Fusaruim sp. This plant of the Lamiaceae family is rich in phenolic compound. To extract its last we used two methods of extraction; soxhlet and maceration. The results of the "in vitro" test of the effect of polyphenolic extracts of sage leaves Salvia officinalis on mycelial growth, shows a correlation between the different doses of methanoic extracts and the rate of inhibition of the fungus tested, in fact, the higher the dose, the slower the mycelial growth.
