The plants studied belong to the genus Atriplex, including A. canescens perch nutt. We work through this study on copper which is an indispensable element for its important role in the physiology of living beings in a general way and plants in a particular way, as it is also a heavy and toxic metal when It is found with high concentrations. The objective of this research is to study the effect of copper on a salinity-resistant plant (Atriplex canescens) with different doses (2000, 2500 and 3000 ppm) separated and combined with 0.5 and 3% NaCl. After a month of stress, we analyzed the levels of proteins and antioxidants containing polyphenols Flavonoids and tannins. The results show a negative correlation between increased copper concentration (separated and combined with salt) and decreased protein. Quantitative estimation of flavonoids, polyphenols and total tannins showed that plant extracts are rich in these compounds compared to untreated plants (control) and plants under treatment of 2000ppm and 2000ppm combined with 0.5% NaCl.en_US
