Abstract

عالجت في هذا البحث صورة المرأة في الرواية العربية والغربية، من خلال مقارنة عملين: "زينب" في الرواية العربية، و"جين إير" في الرواية الغربية. تبدأ هذه الدراسة بنشأة الرواية عند العرب والغرب وأهمّ مميزاتها، ثم تضع إطارا نظريا لبناء الشخصية الروائية من حيث أنواعها، وأبعادها، وأهميتها. ويظهر ذلك من خلال التحليل أن زينب مقيدة بالتقاليد والمجتمع، بينما جين إيرا مستقلة وواعية، بالإضافة إلى أن المقارنة تكشف دور الإطار الاجتماعي والثقافي في تشكيل صورة المرأة In this research, she addressed the image of women in the Arabic and Western novel, by comparing two works: "Zeinab" in the Arabic novel, and"Jane Eyre" in the Western novel. This study begins with the origin of the novel among the Arabs and the West and its most important features, and then sets a theoretical framework for building the novel character in terms of its types, dimensions, and importance. This is shown by the analysis that Zeynep is constrained by traditions and society, while Jane Ira is independent and conscious, in addition, the comparison reveals the role of the socio-cultural framework in shaping the image of a woman.
