Étude histopathologique d'ovaire des femmes atteints le cancer d'ovaire dans la région de Mostaganem

Abstract

Ovarian cancer is a form of cancer affecting an ovary. It usually develops from the surface covering of the ovaries. The most frequent form is epithelial carcinoma of the ovary. Rare forms, such as germinal ovarian tumors or borderline tumors, warrant specific treatment. Our study goal is first to know the incidence of this type of cancer in the wilaya of Mostaganem to take stock of the statistical study of ovarian cancer during the three years (2018, July 2020) and in parallel do a Histopathologic study of ovarian women with ovarian cancer. The study is carried out on the samples which are received at the Anapath service of the hospital of Mostaganem, The anatomo-pathological study of the operative parts found cases of ovarian cancer were classified according to the classification of FIGO. we take as a result the case of Serous adenocarcinoma a Carcinomatous tumor proliferation made up of papillary structures bordered by atypical cells. The results showed an increase in the number of new cases each year compared to previous years. The histopathological analysis remains the determining examination of this cancer. the histological type and grade of ovarian cancer cells are defined according to the WHO grading system ،and which will subsequently determine the treatment of cancer patients
