Analyse Multirisques en zone urbaine : Cas de la ville de Relizane

Abstract

In the last century, particularly in Algeria many natural and technological disasters have occurred and have caused many damages.

These disasters have marked the spirits because they had caused more damages and casualties as it was poorly managed.

Therefore the improvement of the resilience of societies to natural and technological hazards is major and real challenge for the development.

The city of Relizane is an urban area vulnerable to many natural and technological hazards regarding its important population and infrastructure since the city is the capital of the province.

This work contributes to the analysis of the various risks to which the city Relizane is exposed. We have adopted a multi-hazard approach to each hazard with the objective to highlight the issues and their vulnerability to each hazard Treaty.

This approach will be developed by a map as a geographic information system (GIS) for better visibility and show the casualty aspect of preventive management that we propose for the city of Relizane. This will provide the basis to analyze and manage the rest of the major Algerian cities.
