فن التراسل في الأدب العربي الحديث

Abstract

يُعد فن التراسل من أبرز الفنون النثرية التي ازدهرت في الأدب العربي، إذ يجمع بين التعبير الذاتي والبعد الجمالي في الخطاب الكتابي وتُعدّ رسائل جبران خليل جبران إلى مي زيادة مثالًا فريدًا لهذا الفن، حيث تتجاوز الرسائل حدود التواصل الشخصي لتغدو نصوصًا أدبية قائمة بذاتها. تميّزت هذه الرسائل بلغة شاعرية تتداخل فيها العاطفة بالفكر، والوجد بالفلسفة، مما أضفى عليها بعدًا إنسانيًا وروحيًا عميقًا. وقد عبّر جبران من خلالها عن مفاهيم الحب، والحرية، والجمال، بأسلوب تأملي يتخلله استعمال الصور البلاغية والمجازات الموحية، مما جعلها نموذجًا راقيًا لفن التراسل الأدبي الحديث. ومن جهة أخرى، كشفت هذه الرسائل عن ثراء التفاعل الثقافي بين الكاتبين، وارتقت بمستوى الرسالة من أداة للتواصل إلى نص أدبي متكامل، يعكس تطور النثر العربي في العصر الحديث. Epistolary writing is considered one of the most prominent prose arts that flourished in Arabic literature, as it combines personal expression with the aesthetic dimension of written discourse. Khalil Gibran’s letters to May Ziadé represent a unique example of this art, as they transcend the boundaries of personal communication to become literary texts in their own right. These letters are distinguished by poetic language in which emotion intertwines with thought, and passion blends with philosophy, giving them profound human and spiritual depth. Through them, Gibran expressed concepts such as love, freedom, and beauty in a contemplative style enriched with rhetorical imagery and suggestive metaphors, making them a refined model of modern epistolary literature. Moreover, these letters reveal the richness of cultural interaction between the two writers and elevate the letter from a means of communication to a complete literary text, reflecting the development of Arabic prose in the modern era.
