dc.description.abstractThe Coronavirus epidemic hit the world in 2019, and Algeria was not spared. The present work consists of a retrospective survey, the purpose of which is to assess the consequences of the spread of the virus in the state of Mostaganem and to measure the impact of the health measures deployed. For this work, 47 people served us as samples, that is to say of any person COVID-19 as being suspect in Mostaganem during a period of five months from May to July 2020. The results obtained that the virus does not affect men anymore than men. women, it is therefore insensitive to gender and the elderly are more likely to suffer and die from the virus as the average age of those who die is 71 years old. However, statistics revealed that the number of positive cases and deaths in the state of Mostaganem was quite low compared to other states and our European neighbors: only 36 died out of 255 positive cases, or 14% including 16 out of 36 cases. are over 75 years of age.en_US
