Abstract

Artérial hypertension (AHT) is a public health problem. It represents a major cardiovascular risk factor and should be carefully monitored. The aim of our study was to evaluate and monitor lipid parameters (total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL), and see the impact of risk factors and lipid profile on the development of the HTA. Our study was conducted in a population suffering from hypertension (n = 70, male and female) aged 30 years89. The results show that lipid parameters are bio-indicators parameters of dyslipidemia in hypertensive patients. To reduce the risk of complications in patients with hypertension, they should benefit from the advices of systematically including lifestyle precautions (weight, salt, physical activity, smoking, stress, saturated fat).
