Abstract

This thesis examines the effect of soil amendment and fertilization on the morphological traits and biochemical composition of durum wheat (Simeto variety). Conducted in a randomized complete block design at the Hassi Mameche experimental farm (Mostaganem), it compares three treatments: NPK 30-10-10 fertilizer (150 kg/ha), household waste, and Retama monosperma powder (white broom, 500 kg/ha). Key findings: household waste had a notable effect on wheat growth (stem length, culm diameter, dry matter) NPK boosted root growth, chlorophyll, and protein content; Retama monosperma powder increased leaf area and total sugars. Household waste recycling also supports environmental.
