To recommend applications in the field of a naturally insecticide plant substance as an alternative to chemical control against aphid attacks, several important prerequisites need to be satisfied to ensure its effectiveness. The toxicity, lethal dose, mode of action, persistence of insecticide effect and chemical composition of methane extracts of the leaves of Pistacia lentiscus, were tested with the Toxopetra aurantii. We used the method of soxhlet because it is best-technique of extraction methane extracts. The Methane extracts were found to be lowly toxic to aphids on contact, killing the entire population tested. The insecticide effect of the extracts persisted from 24h,48h,72h, to 07 days. The lethal doses that are recorded during lasted tested are: LD 50 is 12,50% and LD90 is42 ,51%.. Contact is essential to his effectiveness. The Methane extract of leaves, which is the most active, is also capable of being transferred through the colony during social tasks. It contains phenol compounds (tannins and flavonoids) and saponins.en_US
