Abstract

This work was carried out in the experimental farm FODIL Ahmed Chawki KAPTANIA proposes to study the effect of fractionation of a single dose of nitrogen on hectare on the cultivation of durum wheat variety "Simeto" installed by direct seeding during the season Agricultural policy 2016/2017. Three split nitrogen fertilizations with check treatment were tested on this local variety according to an experimental model in complete random blocks. Plant height, grain yield, number of ears / m2, number of grains per ear, PMG and nitrogen content in the plant were determined. The results obtained showed significant effects on all the parameters studied. This study confirms that a dose of 3Qx nitrogen / ha applied in two fractions (½ to tiller + ½ at run) is more efficient. Both the yield components and the other treatments were improved.
