dc.description.abstractThe aphid is the most dreaded pest by farmers; the intensive use of chemical synthetic insecticides caused a contamination of the biosphere and the food chain and the emergence of resistant insect. This study aims to propose alternative solutions based on the use of natural products "bio-insecticides," to fight against the damage of this pest. To meet this objective, we evaluated the toxicity of two-methane extracts Ricinus communis L., Nicotiana glauca and their synergy on the aphid Aphis spiraecola citrus. The results show that the extracts of Nicotiana glauca and synergy are more toxic to A.spiraecola with a maximum mortality recorded the 3rd day, while the extract of Ricinus communis L. arrives to the maximum mortality that According to the 7th day. This study should be continued and deepened in order to identify the metabolite responsible of this insecticidal activity.en_US
