Etude de l’activité insecticide des extraits méthanoïques et huiles essentielles de Sinapis arvensis et Thymus vulgaris sur les larves de Aphis spiraecola (Patch)

Abstract

For the control of green citrus aphids, the separate and alternate use of pesticides is an asset to be combined with many other control measures. For this purpose, a study on the effect of methanoid extracts and essential oils of two plants; field mustard and thyme on green citrus aphids was conducted to compare the efficacy of these two products in the control of citrus green aphids. Analysis of variance at the 5% threshold shows a highly significant difference between treatments and it emerges that the mustard extracts used, have a strong power to control green aphids that used thyme extracts that control in to a lesser extent these aphids.
