A serological study was carried out at the regional veterinary laboratory of Mostaganem on two diseases encountered in cattle breeding and aimed to evaluate the statistics obtained over a period of 11 weeks on brucellosis. Brucellosis is a highly contagious zoonosis caused by different bacteria belonging to the genus Brucella which generally infect a specific animal species. However, most species of Brucella are also capable to infect other animal species. During this 114 serum internship was collected in various farms, 89 of which proved to be positive in the EAT test of 83.7% and 33 which reacted positively to the I-Elisa of 25% of prevalence on the Brucellosis, no cases of foot-and-mouth disease have been reported. Statistical analysis was performed for this study using logistic regression to identify risk factors for brucellosis infection.en_US
