Abstract

The study dealt with the role of the Bank of Algeria in controlling cash flow in light of the Corona pandemic and the financial changes (financial crises) during the period from 2019 to 2021, so the problem was formulated as follows: What is the role of the Bank of Algeria in controlling monetary policy in light of the Corona pandemic and The global changes (financial crises) aim to highlight the latter’s contribution to achieving pure stability and the challenges it faces in light of the economic crises the world is witnessing from biological crises such as the Covid-19 crisis, which started its events from the Chinese city of Wuhan to roam the world despite the efforts made to contain the virus, and what are The remnants of this crisis on the Algerian banking system by passing through the performance of the Bank of Algeria on the monetary base and the conditions of the money market, considering that the objectives of monetary policy constitute the first link and the basic building block in the modern strategy of pure policy with the aim of reaching the final objectives of this policy, especially achieving monetary stability and Combating inflation in order to achieve the general objectives of the national economy by relying on the Bank of Algeria on direct and indirect tools, and through this This study concluded that: - The Bank of Algeria directly affects the money supply and works to issue cash, knowing that it is the issuing authority in accordance with legal restrictions and on the basis of what the monetary authority possesses of foreign assets. - - The Bank of Algeria also has a discount tool and a legal reserve ratio in absorbing excess liquidity.
