Lactobacilli are among the main microbial candidates as probiotics, having a significant beneficial effect on human health. This study aims to evaluate certain probiotic characteristics of Lactobacillus strains isolated from goat milk butter and fermented tea. Twelve strains were selected and examined through in vitro tests to assess their adherence, particularly their self-aggregation capacity, which reaches 69.42 ± 0.6%, co-aggregation varying between 26.31% and 27.06%, a percentage of autolysis power reaching up to 67.27 ± 1.57%, their overall hydrophobicity level varying between 42% and 98%, as well as their tolerance to gastrointestinal conditions. The results showed that most Lactobacillus strains met the in vitro probiotic criteria, presenting themselves as good candidates for in vivo trials.en_US
