Etude du pouvoir antifongique des huiles essentielles de deux plantes aromatiques Eucalyptus sp. et Laurus sp. sur le champignon Fusarium sp.

Abstract

This study consists of evaluating the antifungal activity of essential oils (HEs) of two aromatic plants Eucalyptus sp. and Laurus sp. on the fungus Fusarium sp.. This activity was evaluated by the method of direct contact on the PDA medium. The extraction of essential oils was carried out by steam entrainment of the leaves fresh from two plants from the Mostaganem region. Analysis of the results of the study of antifungal potency show that the HEs of Eucalyptus sp. (HE1) and Laurus sp. (HE2) succeeded in moderately inhibiting mycelial growth of Fusarium sp .. In fact, the inhibition rates vary between 41.55% and 70.76% for all oils tested (HE1, HE2 and (HE1 + HE2)) to both strong concentrations (D1 = 0.1% and D2 = 0.05). The synergy of HEs of Eucalyptus sp. and Laurus sp. has showed a slight difference in inhibition of mycelial growth with that obtained following the use of these oils on an individual basis.
