| dc.description.abstract | Nous avons étudié calcul théorique en utilisant la méthode des ondes planes augmentées linéarisées à potentiel total (FP-LAPW) basée sur la théorie de la fonctionnelle de la densité (DFT) et implémentée dans le programme wien2k, pour déterminer les propriétés structurales, électroniques, magnétiques et élastique du composé Heusler Zr2IrGa. Dans le but de déterminer ces propriétés nous avons utilisé l’approximation du gradient généralisé (GGA) pour le terme du potentiel d’échange et de corrélation (XC). Les résultats obtenus montrent que le composé est stable à l'état ferromagnétique (FM), il présente en outre un caractère demi-métallique (nature métallique dans le canal de spin up et un semiconducteur dans le canal de spin down avec un gap indirect). Abstract: We have studied theoretical calculation using the Linearized Enhanced Full Wave (FPLAPW) method based on density functional theory (DFT) and implemented in the wien2k program to determine the structural, electronic, magnetic and elastic properties of compounds Heusler Zr2IrGa. In order to determine these properties, we used the approximation of the generalized gradient (GGA) for the term of the exchange and correlation potential (XC). the results obtained show that the compound is stable in the ferromagnetic state (FM), Moreover, it shows a halfmetallic character (metallic nature in the spin-up channel and a semiconductor in the spindown channel with an indirect gap).
