The pollution of soils by heavy metals has increased as a result of population growth, urbanization, the expansion of industrial and agricultural activities, this risk for ecosystems is very high, the depollution is necessary. It is therefore important to develop effective strategies for managing environments polluted by heavy metals. Given the importance of the germinal phase in the development of the later stages of the development of all plant species, the present work proposes to study the effect of the toxicity of uranium on the germination parameters of (Moringa oleifera L. The seeds were germinated in Petri dishes containing seven different concentrations of uranium ranging from (0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, up to 300 ppm) for 15 days. Uranium acts by its nature and its concentrations on the germination process, These results show a decrease in the germinability of seeds, and the effect of uranium reduces the growth of radicles, more pronounced than the concentrations are lifted the aerial length (tigellae) gradually decreased as a function of time and stress applied. also play the role of the study of the germinal behavior and evaluation of the tolerance vis-a-vis a metallic stress.en_US
