Etude microbiologique et physico chimiques de l’eau de mer dans la région de Mostaganem (sidi madjdoub, la crique de salamandre et oureah).

Abstract

Marine polluants impact the health of our oceans, their inhabitants and those who depend on the resources they provide for food, culture and very survival. Every day, an ever-growing cocktail of intentional and unintentional chemical releases, as well as a relentless tidal wave of waste, especially plastic waste, enters our waterways and the marine environment. Our main objective is the microbiological and physico-chemical study of seawater in the Mostaganem region during the months of March April and May. Sampling of sea water at three sites Sidi Madjdoub Beach and Salamander Creek and Oureah during the months of March April and May by performing analysis of physicochemical parameters (temperature, pH, conductivity, salinity, turbidity, total hardness, calcium, magnesium, chlorine, nitrate, nitrite, ammonium) and bacteriological parameters: total germs, total coliforms, E coli, sulphite-reducing clostridium and faecal straptococci. The physico-chemical analyzes show that these results agree with the Algerian standard for seawater. total germs at the three sites. Total coliforms are too high, and fecal coliforms have been evaluated at 2 and 41 CFU/ml. On the other hand, there is an absence of faecal streptococci and sulphite-reducing Clostridium in April at three sites, but in March it is very high.
