This study evaluates the efficacy of Azolla as a biostimulant for potato and tomato crops by comparing four concentrations of Azolla extract (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) with two controls: a positive (commercial biostimulant) and a negative (without biostimulant). Plants treated with Azolla showed superior growth: the average height of tomato stems reached 42 cm, compared to 32 cm for the negative control and 35 cm for the positive. During flowering, plants with Azolla produced 74 flowers on average, surpassing the 69 flowers of the positive control and 45 of the negative control. Fruit production was also improved, with 65 fruits on average for Azolla compared to 60 for the positive control. In terms of yield, Azolla allowed an average weight of 1250 g per plant, surpassing the 1145 g of the positive control and 998 g of the negative control. Furthermore, the use of Azolla enriched the organic matter of the soil, increasing it from 1.16% to 2.12%, highlighting its potential as an ecological solution for sustainable agriculture.en_US
