The varieties are unidentified and not even known as in the region of Tlemcen where obtaining the cuttings to make this study was difficult because The fellahs refused to give us the cuttings of their varieties (monopoly) especially the Mrini and Maadam varieties. Behavioral study shows that grenadier cuttings yield vigorous plants with abundant growth where the average (for one month after planting) of budding was 1.8 to 4 buds per cuttings, the best results obtained are for both varieties Mrini and Maadam, the results for Sefri and Lahmarsont at proximity, there are no big differences between treated cuttings and controls for all varieties. According to the results we obtain that cutting grenadier is not demanding for hormonal treatment especially with cuttings large diameters, thickness of 1.5 to 3cm, which ensure caulogenesis fairly developed.
