Marine plant macroalgae, widely used as monitoring species, are of great interest and are increasingly used for biomonitoring and quality assessment of coastal marine ecosystems. My work aims to establish and enrich the biomass of macro algae on the Mostaganem coast. My choice fell on three sites: stidia, sablette and salamndre. A list of 249 species be longing to green, red and brown algae. I have inventoried 81 brown species, 37 red species and 118 green species. Green algae are more abundant on Salamander than Sablettes and Stidia. As a result, I conclude that green algae represent the majority of algae on the Mostaganem coast. It is due to pollution (the presence of phosphorus and nitrogen of human origin strongly favors the growth of green algae).en_US
