Our study was carried out in the region of Mostaganem, the aim of which was to study the effect of irrigation doses (D1, D2) on the cultivation of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.). The results obtained showing that the irrigation dose influences the morphological and physiological characters according to the irrigation dose. The growth of the plant (length of stems and roots) has been reduced, the number of flowers and fruits too. The irrigation dose of 50% of the retention capacity reached the physiological parameters (water balance), on the other hand, the chlorophyll rate in the leaves did not suffer from this effect of the water deficit.en_US
