Given the economic and social importance of cattle breeding, genetic improvement programs based on artificial insemination are applied in order to increase the production capacities of the herd and to ensure good management. Artificial insemination is the most widely used reproductive biotechnology in the world. Considered one of the tools for disseminating high-performance genetic material. Our study mainly deals with the factors influencing the success rate of AI at the level of a few farms in two wilayas; (Mostaganem and Oran) It is influenced by several parameters, namely: breed, age, parity, physiological state of the cow, food, hygiene, technique and method of breeding. At the end of our study, we found that there were an enormous number of factors that correlated with AI failure. .en_US
