Abstract

Viticulture is very important in Algeria, so efforts must be made to improve and develop this culture, by several methods. The application of the described method can make it possible to know the compatibility and the affinity between certain rootstocks and scions and to determine the success of grafting ((Vitis vinifera L.) and the rootstocks (1003p; 41b; so4)) , and after these tests can say that to obtain good results, it is necessary to choose the right rootstock for the scions which adapts with it, and to avoid the incompatibility between the two varieties Compatibility and affinity are very important bases for successful grafting By contribution the rootstocks it should be noted that the best rootstock that can be cultivated and used in Algeria is 1003p; because of its genetic bills which adapt to the climate and soil of Algeria
