Évaluation préliminaire de l’activité larvicide des huiles essentielles de deux plantes aromatiques Thymus vulgaris et Origanum vulgare sur le ver blanc de la vigne

Abstract

The white grubs of the crops cause considerable damage, they are pests ,Polyphages that attack practically many cultures. The damage caused is localized on the roots. This study aims to propose alternative solutions based on the use of natural products "bio-control" in order to fight against the white grub of the vine Which is considered a serious threat to viticulture in Algeria. The main objective of our work is to check the effectiveness of essential oils of T.vulgaris and O.vulgare in vitro on larvae. These extracts were extracted at The results obtained from the in vitro tests show that the essential oil of T.vulgaris (LD50 = 0.62%) more toxic than O.vulgare (LD50 = 2.5%) The second part of the work involves the identification of the insect. The comparison of our results allowed us to propose a preliminary identification of the pest based on the morphology of the larvae. But this is not confirmed since we were unable to collect adults for identification.The third part deals with the geographical distribution of grubs in the wilaya of Mostaganem, in the course of six agricultural companions.
