Effet de l’environnement sur la caractérisation des coquilles de l’escargot Helix aspersa dans les régions Mascara et Mostaganem

Abstract

The snail Helix aspersa is a Pulmonate Gastéropod Mollusk with a variability color shell. We research a relation between morphometrics parameters and ecological variables. For this reason, we have tried to study three characteristics relevant to its shell, which are successively: the diameter, the height, and the opening diameter, and this within two station of Mostaganem and Mascara. Afterwards, we have calculated correlation matrices between the three variables to study the neatness off the relationship between these morphometrics characteristics. Finally, the comparaison betwwen the different station for each variable has been done with the aid of a statistical test: analyse de variance. About the diameter, we find that there is a difference significant between the two stations at a=0,005. We don’t find a significantly difference between the two other parameter’s which are: the height and the opening diameter.
