In recent years, molecular biology has considerably changed the routine diagnosis of infectious, genetic and neoplastic diseases. Any study of molecular genetics involves the disposal of nucleic acid samples. Nucleic acid extraction techniques are relatively simple. The DNA extraction step is the first and most important step in all molecular biology studies. The DNA thus extracted can then be used for molecular biology research such as: sequencing and PCR. The aim of this work was to isolate DNA from human whole blood of Covid-19 subjects. We proceeded to extract DNA from the samples using the salting-out method. Our practical internship allowed us to sample 12 patients with Covid-19 in the three Covid-19 departments of Mostaganem hospitals. The results of the practical part of this thesis allowed us to isolate jellyfish of different sizes from the 12 samples. Subsequently, we visualized the DNAs by an agarose gel electrophoresis step. It would be interesting to continue the sampling stage to enrich the DNA bank of subjects with SARS-COV-2 on one side. An to carry out a molecular biology study in order to study the role of genetic polymorphisms of the ACE2 gene.en_US
