Résumé:
Water, essential for life, is a highly sought after resource. Local authorities are therefore obliged
to take this resource into account in their development plan and to improve the existing purification
facilities.
Water pollution is a physical, chemical, biological or bacteriological degradation of its natural
qualities, caused by man and his activities. It disrupts the living conditions, flora and aquatic fauna.
The wastewater discharges increase because of the industrialization and the raising of standard of
living of the population, the capacities of self-purification are considered outdated which pushes the
researchers to develop several techniques to purify these effluents.
The installation of purification systems downstream of the sewerage networks is one of the
solutions if not the only one capable of preserving the water resources. In addition to effluent
depollution, these facilities allow the mobilization of a large volume of water suitable for reuse in
several areas.
