The problème of soils contaminated by heavy metals such as lead is today is of great conern for emrging countries Atriplex canescenceis a halophytic plant of the chenopodiaceae family,well adapted to conditions environmental extremes and have heavy metal accumulating properties The present work consists of synthesizing the effect of lead at the doses 0,5000 and 10,000 on the morphophysiological parameters of Atriplex canescence The results obtained showed that the effect of lead varies from one parameter to another and analyzes morphology show a reduction in the lead area of Atriplex canescence and a inhibition of the growth of Atriplex canescencein stressed plants with recorded a decrease in the length of stems and roots, as well the weight of the material fresh of plants treated with lead compared to witnesses. key words : atriplex canescence pursh nutt, lead morphophysiological parameters phytoremediation.
