Résumé:
The work undertaken is an introduction to the study of the impact of starch on the environment by defining the elements that make up its environmental footprint through a life cycle analysis, the basic foundation of the ISO 14000 environmental management system. This work allowed us to realize the importance of starch as a product directly consumed or used in different industries and to observe the environmental impacts generated by its production, transport, use and consumption, for example the dusting of corn gives a significant quantity of dust which is also extracted is sold to feed livestock. This company uses several methods to treat these discharges: recovery, recycling and treatment of wastewater.
