Résumé:
The ability of PSB to solubilize phosphate is considered to be one of the most
important traits of plant nutrition. These bacteria play an important role in providing plants
with phosphorus. The objective of the present study is the isolation of phosphate solubilizing
bacteria as well as the improvement by mutation of their phosphate solubilizing abitity.
During our work 23 bacteria were isolated from the rhizosphere of lentil, artichoke, chickpea,
bean and broad bean from two different regions. The selected bacterial isolates were tested for
their ability to solubilize tricalcium phosphate. Significant amounts of phosphorus solubilized
by the isolates were recorded reaching a value of 729 μg / ml of free phosphorus by the isolate
GC1. For the improvement of phosphate solubilization.
