Résumé:
Although the sea is one of the most important sources of nutrition and tourist and economic attraction, it is also considered the world's largest basin of pollution of all kinds, especially the Mediterranean Sea, more precisely Mostaganem (La cove, Sidi Medjedoub and Ouréah), which are the subject of our study due to population growth, large urban expansion and economic programs. For lack of filtering stations, the sea is full of various pollutions that negatively affect marine life and humans.
Our study included the evaluation of the quality of the sea water on these three sites, La Crique, Sidi Medjedoub, Ouréah, by making physical, chemical and bacteriological analyzes and by comparing the results with the international quality of the seas to ensure that there are changes in the characteristics of the sea, the extent of its pollution and its origin.
After a good sampling strategy, physical and chemical analyzes were carried out (pH, selective conductivity, temperature, salinity, etc.) and microbiological (total coliforms, faecal coliforms, faecal streptococci, sulphite-reducing Clostridium, Staphylococcus aureus, salmonella, aerobic germs , yeasts and molds) of the water Which have been studied in the laboratory, and the results of physico-chemical analyzes have shown that The pH is high And low temperature with normal salinity Suggest the presence of microorganisms, whatever be their source. The bacteriological results of this study indicate the presence of total and faecal coliforms and staphylococcus aureus and faecal streptococci in the sites studied causing their contamination, but there is a total absence of salmonella.
