Résumé:
Among the subservient insects, citrus aphids occupy a very special place because they are considered today among the most important insect pests inducing significant economic losses.
In a perspective of looking for new aids that may be used in biological control against these pests. This preliminary work has focused on the evaluation of the effectiveness of organic insecticide methanoic extract from the leaves of Salvia officinalis sage on adults of three aphid species, namely Aphis spiraecola, Toxtoptera aurantii and Myzus persicae.
The results obtained show that this extract has demonstrated proven insecticidal action vis-a-vis the three species of citrus aphids, with a greater effectiveness Myzus persicae with an LD 50 of 35.84%, followed by Aphis spiraecola with an LD50 of 38.26%. The aphid is the most tolerant Toxtoptera aurantii since it takes 43.37% extract to control 50% of the population of this insect.
