Résumé:
Introduction :The type 2 diabetes is a major problem of the world public health, its prevalence and evolution is increasing in silent and insidious until the appearance of heavy complications which led to consequences in terms of morbidity and mortality.
It maybe especially attributable to an insulinoresistance accompanied with a deficiency of insulin relative or to an anomaly of the secretion accompanied with an insulinoresistance.
This work allows to describe the most frequent risk factors which promotes to some complications in this pathology in the West of Algeria, to define people the most the displayed to this pathology.
Methods: we realized a descriptive study for 120 diabetic patients in period of two months, from 19-03-2017 to 18-05-2017, in the service of inner medicine. The main target of this study is describing the sociodemographic, anthropometric and clinical factors which favours to arise the diabetes of type II and its complications.
Results: the most common gender in our population of the study was for feminine (63,33 % women, 36,66 %), the mean age was of 63,81 years, the IMC in 28,19 kg m-2, the age was on average in 10, 32 years, the notion of diabetes in the family was found at 63,33 %. The correlation was found between the arisen of this disease and several factors in particular: the advanced age, the obesity, the family history hygiene-dietary diabetics, the HTA, the physical inactivity and the imbalance. Concerning the complications, our results revealed that the majority of our patients presented chronic or acute complications or both have the time.
Conclusion: to target the prevention initiatives of type 2 diabetes and its complications and their premature coverage, a better knowledge of the lifestyle of the diabetics and their food and sports habits must be developed through the system of surveillance and follow-up, as well as a particular attention on the age of the disease and on the interest of the prevention at an early age.
